Utah Training Options

We provide you with two different levels of firearms training.  We offer what every other instructor offers, which is the Utah BCI CFP training.  Fortress Training also offers the Utah BCI Pro training for those who desire a little more higher end class.  

Choose Your Training

Utah BCI CFP Training

This is the 4 hour course approved by Utah BCI. This course meets the minimum standards for Utah and is taught by other instructors throughout the United States.  If your goal is to save money and get it done, this is your class.

UT BCI Basic

Utah BCI Pro Training

This is for a more discerning client who desires to work on skills during the training and does not want to sit the entire training.  You will have off-range SIRT training guns in your hand.

The Fortress Difference

Fortress Training's Utah Concealed Firearms Training is like none other.   NO ONE offers you the professional firearms training services we do.   You are about to get a permit to carry a firearm. 

Our services meet the traditional Utah Concealed Firearms Permit, but we get you moving.  We offer exclusive options that include: 
Up to 2 hours of SIRT Laser pistol training, teaching you tactical skills in the safety of a non-fire environment.  Also, you can add in our Advanced Concealed Training.  What do you do if you use your firearm, what is your legal strategy, what physical and psychological changes happen when you pull the trigger - it is during our ACT training you will learn what to do.

Other Trainings

The class is four hours in length and covers all aspects required for you to obtain the Utah Concealed Firearms permit.  
In your class you will learn: 

• Rules for safe gun handling
• An understanding of the different types of handguns 
• Ammunition (practice and self defense) along with care and storage of your ammo. 
• Proper handling of a firearm (stance, grip, and common mistakes) 
• Range safety and how to fix common handgun issues while on the range or firing. 
• Concealed carry holstering and expectation if you ever shoot someone. 
• Cleaning, storing and carrying a firearm. 
• Utah Law

As a non-resident of Utah you will need to include credit card information, check, or money order payable to UTAH BCI in the amount of $51.00.  This fee includes your FBI and state background checks.
